Atul Vidya Mandir (Wardha) was established in the year 1991 in memory of Late Atul W. Jagtap. This education society was founded by every utmost effort of former President Honorable Prof. Late Annasaheb alias Walmikrao Y. Jagtap, Dr. Milind W. Jagtap, Prof. Virendra W. Jagtap, Prof. Mrs. Uttaratai V. Jagtap and with the co-operation of several well wishers of this region. Society is now imparting quality education from K.G. to U.G.
In the year 2000, society opened two schools namely, Late Atul Jagtap High School and Arts Junior College, Shirajgaon Korde, Tq. Chandur Rly and Late Sulbhatai Jagtap High School, Nimgavhan, Tq. Chandur Rly.
Considering lack of science education in the area of Chandur Rly tahasil and on local public demand, society opened Rajarshee Shahu Science College at Chandur Rly in the year 2008. Maharashtra government sanctioned this college on grant in –aid basis as the Taluka’s ‘One and only one College’. At the same time, higher science education was supported by opening Rajarshee Shahu Science Junior College and joining it to the senior college.
Atul Vidya Mandir put one step ahead to impart primary education by opening Rajarshee Shahu English School in the year 2010.
Society is following a path lead by the great social reformer king emperor, Rajarshee Shahu Maharaj to spread the human values and equal opportunities amongst the kids and young generation of this rural area by providing maximum educational facilities in terms of infrastructure, all type of support facilities and by appointing devoted teacher fraternity. Society is committed with the mission to develop talent and personalities of every individual students taking education in these educational institutes.
