Admission Rules and Guidelines

I. GENERAL:
  1. Candidates seeking admission to the available courses in the college need to purchase prospectus along with the admission form from the college.
  2. Applicant should read the prospectus thoroughly before filling the admission form.
  3. Applicant should fill the details carefully in the admission form before submission. Incomplete and overwritten forms will not be accepted.
  4. Applicant has to enclose two self-attested photostat copies of the following documents along with the admission form.
    1. Class X Board Certificate (for the date of birth)
    2. Class X Marks-Sheet issued by the Board. (Only for Jr. College applicant)
    3. Class XII Marks-Sheet issued by the Board. (Only for Jr. College applicant)
    4. School/College leaving certificate.
    5. Caste certificate SC/ST/OBC, if applicable.
    6. Income certificate (for OBC non-creamy layer), if applicable.
    7. Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate, if applicable.
    8. Eligibility Certificate (for other state applicant).
    9. Migration Certificate (for Other University / Board applicant).
    10. Sport Certificate(s), for last three years, if applicable.
    11. Gap Certificate, if applicable.
    12. Aadhar Card.
  5. The original documents must be furnished at the time of admission for verification.
  6. Admission process is completely on the merit basis and as per constitutional reservation rules (Table 1.1) of Maharashtra Government and University.
  7. The received application forms will be scrutinized by the College Admission Committee and the merit list of the eligible candidates will be displayed on the college notice board for admission against vacant seats.
  8. Eligible candidates should take admission as per the admission schedule announced by the college / University; else his/her candidature may go for cancellation thereafter.
  9. The college will retain the original certificates of the admitted candidate. However, the college will certainly return the documents in case of cancellation of the admission.
  10. Refund of Tuition Fee and Laboratory Fee on cancellation of Admission as per University rules mentioned below:

    1 100% 15 days or more before the formally notified last date of admission.
    2 90% Less than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission.
    3 80% 15 days or less after the formally notified last date of admission.
    4 50% 30 days or less, but more than 15 days after formally notified last date of admission.
    5 00% More than 30 days after formally notified last date of admission.
  11. No fees shall be refunded after the last date of admission. In other words, students have to pay full fees for the cancellation of the admission thereafter.
  12. Candidates should retain the admission receipt till the end of the session for future reference.

III. ELIGIBILITY CRITERION:
  1. For B.Sc. Part I: H.S.S.C.
  2. For M.Sc.: B.Sc. (with Relevant Subject)
    1. The students passing H.S.C. Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
    OR
    1. The students passing the HSSC Examination offering Vocational stream with Mathematics.
    OR
    1. The students passing H.S.C. examination (M.C.V.C. stream) with technical trades like Engineering and Technology Group, Para Medical Group, Agricultural Group and Fisheries Group.
Important Instructions for the Parents / Guardians

Parents should read the prospectus thoroughly and must ensure that their wards adhere to the rules and regulation, fee structure, code of conduct, ragging act, examination and attendance etc. mentioned therein.
