The department of physical education started working from 2010 and from initial stage the faculty member being the national player and university captain was appointed the coach of SGBAU Amravati university hockey team which team obtained 3 positions in west zone inter university hockey championship held at Mumbai. It has well build infrastructure for sport and games. Coaching and training is given is given to them regularly in volleyball and hockey. Besides this the department has organized inter collegiate volleyball tournament .and in youth festival the college has actively participated in this event.
