Rajarshee Shahu Science College, Chandur Rly, in Amravati District, is the conspicuous reflection of the vision of Honourable Prof. Late Annasaheb Jagtap. He has materialized the educational and the social engineering dimensions of his ideas and ideals in shaping this institute. His pursuit for excellence finds reflection in every single thing that has come up within a very short span since 2008, the year of its birth. This science college in a tiny taluka place finds its foundation so well heeled with all basic infrastructures in such a short span. The spacious classrooms, equipped and self-sufficient laboratories, botanical garden, library, Vidharathi Vastu Bhandar, the spread of playground speak for diligence and efforts that must gone in seeing everything take shape. The well landscaped and well maintained campus is another prized possession. Along with the physical support of infrastructure the talented, youthful and sincere teaching staff is all concerned and committed to the cause of academic dimensions in today’s competition driven world. To keep pace with the changing world we also believe in seeking help of learned faculties from around so that our students get state of the art exposure in regular curriculum and the competitive examinations. Efforts are taken to see that our students grow well informed enough to realize the challenges posed to our ecosystem. Continuous evaluation system is our focal point. Very soon, ahead of us is our test for excellence in the field of academics from NAAC Bangalore. As the head of the institute, I feel it an honor to enjoy the profound confidence of the sensitive management. I extend the patrons, well-wishers, my passionate teaching and assiduous non-teaching staff and aspirant students earnest greetings. I am confident that the fraternity of students although coming from unprivileged and comparatively handicapped rural background, will rise to the expectations of the institute and contribute to its repute and see it excel with their achievements. In pursuit of quality we all have –Miles to go, so let excellence be our watchword.
