Rajarshee Shahu Science College has come up as the premier institution for science education in this area running Science Degree College and also Science & Arts Junior College. Degree Science College is affiliated to the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati and offering B.Sc. course under U.G. programme. Apart from compulsory languages like English, Marathi/Urdu, various optional subject combinations available are: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics (CMP), Computer Science, Electronics and Physics (CEP), Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (CBZ). Of these subjects, Computer Science and Electronics subjects are run on permanent no grant basis. Junior College encompasses the courses like Science, Bifocal and Arts on purely non grant basis. College is housed in beautiful green campus with sufficient play fields. There are sufficient number of spacious classrooms and independent laboratories for each subject with adequate facilities.
