General Information and Instructions for Students

Scholarships and Awards:

The terms and conditions laid down by the college for the award of various scholarships and awards are given below:

  1. Applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State.
  2. The prescribed application form, duly filled in, should be submitted to the college office within two weeks of securing admission. The acknowledgement received thereafter should be kept for future reference.
  3. Application forms shall be made available in the college office after 3:00 p.m. on working days only.
Rules Regarding Attendance:
  1. Students must attend at least 75% of the lectures, including practicals, in each subject in order to qualify for the Board/University examination.
  2. Students who fall short of the required attendance without substantial reason shall be fined and may not be allowed to appear for the University/Board Examination.
  3. The names of students who remain absent for a long period shall be removed from the college rolls.
Discipline & Code of Conduct:
  1. It is obligatory for students to possess prescribed textbooks and other relevant study materials.
  2. Timely, systematic and satisfactory completion of home assignments is mandatory. Any failure in this regard on the part of a student will be deemed to be an act of indiscipline and may invite a fine. The college will seriously consider this fact while determining the eligibility of students who appear for University/Board examinations.
  3. Students shall not cause any damage to or destroy college property. Any such misuse or damage caused intentionally or unintentionally shall invite punishment. All students from the class involved in such misdeeds shall be held collectively responsible for any damage in the particular class, unless the individual offender is identified.
  4. Students shall maintain decorum and dignified behaviour on the college premises. Any indiscipline or misbehaviour, both inside and outside the college premises, will attract severe punishment. The names of students found guilty of misbehaviour or misconduct may be removed from the college rolls.
  5. Every student must attend the prayer as per the timetable of the college.
  6. Students must enter their respective classes before the period bell rings. They must utilize their free time in the college library. Students shall not cause any disturbance to teaching or to the general functioning of the college.
  7. A student shall not be allowed to participate in or attend any activity in the college without an identity card.
  8. Any change of address, phone number or mobile number must be brought to the notice of the college office immediately.
  9. It is the responsibility of the student/parent/guardian to find out which scholarships the student is eligible for and to apply for the same along with the required documents.
  10. Any difficulty faced by the student should be brought to the notice of the Principal.
  11. Smoking, gutka, pan chewing, and the consumption of banned drugs and narcotics on the college campus are strictly prohibited.
  12. Students shall check the college notice board regularly. The college will not be held responsible for any loss arising out of negligence on the part of students in this regard.
  13. Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any student found guilty of ragging will be prosecuted as per law and shall be expelled from the college forthwith.
  14. No outside artist or person will be allowed to take part in the college cultural activities.
  15. Students must keep photocopies of all documents submitted to the college office. The documents once submitted will not be returned. Photocopies of the documents may be made available to students under extraordinary circumstances on payment of Rs. 50 per copy.

SC, ST & VJNT, SBC, OBC Post-Matric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee (Freeship) Benefits of all types of compulsory fees, such as Tuition Fees, Examination Fees and other admissible fees, are covered under the scheme. The parent/guardian's annual income should be above Rs. 2.50 lakhs to unlimited for SC & ST category students.

The parent/guardian's annual income should be less than or equal to Rs. 8.00 lakhs for VJNT, SBC & OBC students.
3. General
(SEBC, EBC, EWS, OPEN, MINORITY)
Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna Benefits of Tuition Fees and Examination Fees are paid to the student. The total annual income of the family/guardian should be less than or equal to Rs. 8.00 lakhs.
4. MINORITY State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE) The total annual course fee or Rs. 5,000/-, whichever amount is less, will be paid to the student. The total annual income of the family/guardian should be up to Rs. 8.00 lakhs.

  8. Declaration Certificate from parents/guardians regarding the number of children who are beneficiaries (if applicable)
